OK, we have to make a decision on this. Is there a weekend in August or September that works for you guys? Also, do you have any places in mind? Asheville has been mentioned, as has a barrier island in SC.
Let's make a decision on this. That's what men do. (Or so I'm told.)

It looks like I'm probably going to be up here in Philly next fall with a full-time job. I've got no idea what weekend would work best b/c I won't have any huge responsibilities except for my job (if I've got one) which hopefully I'll be able to take some time off from for this.
So y'all pick whichever weekend works best for you and I'll do my best to be there.
As far as where to camp, here are my ideas, in order of preference:
--Jones Gap State Park in SC--Pisgah National Forest in NC
--Somewhere on a beach.
My vote is Jones Gap camping Aug 14-16th (it might still be hot and buggy not sure what the mountains are like that time of year. Or Oct 9-11th? ? (i'd rather be cold than hot) seeing how i'm hot enough as it is.
i am good where ever, if we do the beach, lets find a place that we can be on the shore camping. what ever weekend is fine with me, as long as i know 30 days in advance.
this might be a little too ironic but the 15th is "assumption day" in the liturgical calendar. (not sure what that means.)
so I'm assuming no one has a problem with that? ?
p.s. is everyone still alive?
Dave, assumption day is the day the blessed virgin was assumed into heaven. Don't you read your bible? Jones Gap is a good place with some great trails. I'm with Sewell, thirty days notice works for me. Probably won't be able to get Sunday off though.
If I am able to make it (which I would like to do) it will be random chance that allows me to do so. Just pick a weekend; I'll do what I can.
...Man, the summer? In SC? Really?
James- it'll be in the mountains so at least there won't be as much of that nasty humidity that makes life suck.
