No one wants to touch this topic?

I think you all know how the denomination that I am a member of (PCA) feels about it. I don't tow the party line in this issue.

What about our Episcopalian brothers? Or our WTS non-conformist?

Randy when you label me you disable me.

I don't have a qualm about women in ministry. The first evangelists were women in that they announced the empty tomb. Now before i get read the riot act I'd say where we define ministry is different as to how we define "in" There are things that I'd love to teach Lisa that in the faith that in no way am i able to. However another Christian women has that ability to teach her. Same is for me and Godly men.

I need Godly women in youth ministry because there are things young ladies need to know and see modeled before them that i can't.

It boils down to a complementaristic view of family and structure that the church models after. (Eph 5:22 and following)

Randy, if you don't tow the party line in this issue tell me your thoughts.

Iain, are you still alive? MB didn't over take you?

I think Pipers book "Recovering Biblical Manhood and Womanhood" has a pretty good take on it. As well as the chapter In Driscols "Vintage Church". I don't have a problem with women teaching men. Its a complementarity role. The Helper, as God told Eve. The only restrictions i am aware of in the NT is that of an elder.

Now some would say that Elder and Pastor are the same roles. If that is so, then should they be pastors?
